At Bike Component Shop, we stand behind every brake lever, shifter, and groupset we sell with the same confidence you have in your riding. While we meticulously inspect all components before shipping, we understand that sometimes a return or exchange is necessary.

Return & Exchange Timeframe

We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of your receipt of the order.

Note on Non-Returnable Items: For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following products:
  • Any brake or shift lever that shows signs of installation or use
  • Opened or installed groupset components
  • Products with removed or damaged packaging

Condition Requirements

To be eligible for return or exchange:

  • Items must be in original, unused condition
  • All original packaging and materials must be included
  • All tags and labels must be attached
  • Items must not show any signs of installation or wear

Return Process

  1. Contact Us: Email our support team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use the template below to ensure we have all necessary information.
  2. Wait for Authorization: We will respond within 2 business days with a Return Authorization Number and instructions.
  3. Package Securely: Repackage the item in its original packaging with all included materials.
  4. Ship to Us: Send the package to our warehouse address (provided in your return authorization email). We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
  5. Inspection & Processing: Once received, our team will inspect the item within 3-5 business days and process your return or exchange.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). Shipping costs for original orders are non-refundable.

Refund Timeline & Method

After we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refund Processing: 3-5 business days for inspection and processing
  • Payment Method Refund: 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Exchange Processing: We will ship your replacement item within 2 business days of approving the exchange

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase.

Defective or Incorrect Items
