By accessing and using bikecomponentshop.com (“the Site”), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Site or services.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

As a user of our Site, you agree to:

Order Process

When you place an order through our Site, you are making an offer to purchase products. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any reason. Your order is not accepted until we send you a confirmation email.

Pricing

All prices are shown in US Dollars. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders that we have already confirmed.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• PayPal

By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and authorize us to charge your payment method for the total amount of your order.

Shipping Information

We process and ship orders within 1-2 business days. We offer two shipping options:

• Standard Shipping: Shipped via DHL or FedEx for a flat fee of $12.95. Delivery typically occurs within 10-15 business days after shipment.
• Free Shipping: Available on orders over $50, shipped via EMS. Delivery typically occurs within 15-25 business days after shipment.

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may be subject to delays beyond our control, such as customs processing. We do not currently ship to all parts of Asia and some remote regions.

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Timeframe

We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of the date you receive your order.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following products:

• Any brake lever or shift lever (Road or MTB) that shows signs of installation or use
• Any opened or installed groupset component
• Any product with removed or damaged original packaging

Condition Requirements

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must:

• Be in original, unused condition
• Include all original packaging, tags, labels, and materials
• Show no signs of installation, wear, or damage

Return Process

1. Contact our support team at [email protected] within the 15-day window
2. Wait for authorization (we’ll respond within 2 business days)
3. Repackage the item securely in its original packaging
4. Ship the package to our warehouse using a trackable service
5. We’ll inspect the item within 3-5 business days and process your return or exchange

Refunds

After we receive your return, inspection and processing takes 3-5 business days. Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method. It may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., a defective product or incorrect item shipped).

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective product or the wrong item, contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will cover the return shipping costs and expedite your replacement or refund.

The Site and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Bike Component Shop, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Site without prior written consent from us, except as follows:

• Your computer may temporarily store copies of such materials in RAM incidental to your accessing and viewing those materials
• You may store files that are automatically cached by your Web browser for display enhancement purposes
• You may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages of the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use

The Bike Component Shop name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Bike Component Shop or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Bike Component Shop, its affiliates, or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use, or inability to use, the Site, any websites linked to it, any content on the Site or such other websites, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business or anticipated savings, loss of use, loss of goodwill, loss of data, and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract, or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

The foregoing does not affect any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

As a cycling component retailer, we emphasize that proper installation and maintenance of bicycle components are essential for safety. We are not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from improper installation, maintenance, or use of our products.

These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the federal courts of the United States or the courts of the State of Texas, in each case located in Tarrant County.
